Moja - [Video]

[The feed is going to click on to T’challa staring at the screen with a light frown. His mask is on, and he is in full Black Panther gear. The reason being is because he figures if anyone were to recognize him, it would probably be as the Black Panther. Not T'challa. Which was just fine by him.]

So. From what I have been reading over the past few days, it seems that I have been abducted. Although dimensional travel was something I never figured I would experience in my lifetime, it being by force is something I don't quite appreciate.

You may recognize me. In my world I am known as the Black Panther. And ruler of Wakanda. Before you respond I want you to know; I am probably not the same Black Panther from your world. I don’t know even half of you personally. Though I have heard of some of you in passing. [He figures he should get that out of the way. He has read a lot of entries of people recognizing someone, but that person has no recollection of who they are.]

If you know who I am on a more personal level, we should talk. In person. This device is a neat little contraption, but I'm afraid I don't trust it for privacy.

Ah. Well, I suppose I might as well extend the welcome despite the potential unfamiliarity.

There are quite a number of things to learn about acclimation to this City for an imPort, including the provided living conditions, though they may be...somewhat different from what I would assume you to be accustomed to.
professorlionface: (Let me ask you...)

Understandably so! It can take some getting used to, being in a world so similar to our own but with very large, noticeable differences. The complete absence of Wakanda and the resources it's known for among them.
professorlionface: (If you'll direct your attention here...)

Dr. Henry McCoy, mutant biochemist and educator extraordinaire! I've associated with the Avengers, Defenders, and most often the X-Men, from their very inception as the boisterous, bouncing, and bludgeoning Beast!

[He taps his chin thoughtfully. Might be useful to compare their timelines, figure out just what divergence are at play.] You wouldn't happen to be married, would you?
professorlionface: (How very interesting...)

That would be me! Though whether I'm quite as feline I couldn't say. That tends to vary, from what I hear.

[He gives a knowing smirk of his own.] It was a friend of mine, actually. Storm.
professorlionface: (Can't be overly concerned at the moment!)

Who knows? Could be wedding bells in your future, as well!
professorlionface: (Most excellent! :3)

It would require a man of certain character to earn her affection. I'm sure you could prove your mettle.
professorlionface: (Upside-down smile!)

Just make sure I get an invitation, eh?

So, you seem to have caught yourself up on things here, is this easing the transition any?
professorlionface: (Might I just add...)

Well, I'm referring more to local matters, which her absence would mostly exclude that from the equation.
professorlionface: (It's really quite simple.)

Oh, yes, getting used to the setting can be a little disorienting at first, but it'll pass eventually. It's all a matter of acclimating!
professorlionface: (What was I thinking?)

[He cringes a little as he calculates it. Has it really been that long?]

Just shy of twenty months, so I've seen my fair share of entrances and exits.
professorlionface: (I'll explain this slowly.)

Well, it happens. There are a fair amount who've spent far longer here, but it can be somewhat inconsistent. Some have been here years and leave, only to return months later. Others are hardly here a few weeks.

You really can't tell what your sentence will be, if you decide to think of it as a prison. Easier not to, there's a whole world to be trapped in, after all!
