[There's a lot of explanation she could provide for this question, but this is public and Barbara isn't much for giving unnecessary information to the network at large. Bad enough that she has to ask at all. However, she can't help sounding worried.]

Has anyone seen Charlie in the past day or two? Teenage girl, red hair, last seen in Venezuela?

[For someone so young, the tween-to-early-teens girl on the communicator still manages to pull off "angry" pretty well.]

This is definitely not my uncle's home in Gotham.

I don't know what's going on, but I can tell you right now that there's little point in kidnapping me. He's not going to give you whatever you want, so you might as well just let me leave.

It'll be better for everyone.

You know, however much you learn about things from books or other people, it's always different to experience it yourself. I was barely home at all, but already over a month has passed here?

These time differences could get seriously confusing.

[Babs is somewhere in front of a long, blank brick wall - perhaps a warehouse of some sort? Well, formerly blank. At the moment, it's plastered in posters, all bearing the image of one Mitchell Hundred. The ones immediately visible read, "prefers his jeans acid-washed" and "says, 'The movie is always better than the book!'"]

You know, I've seen negative campaign ads before, but this is definitely a new approach to the genre.

[She's shaking her head, but she's laughing, too.] It's a little weird, but I think I like it. It's nice to see a little humor in politics.

But it does raise the question - is there a mayoral election this year?

[The redheaded woman in the wheelchair looks tired, but she manages a smile. When she speaks, her voice is quiet, but there's a certain wry amusement to it that matches the expression.]

I can't say this was exactly the welcome I was expecting.

[She pauses while she shoves her glasses a little farther up her nose and shakes her head.]

Not that I was expecting to be here at all.

[Smile fading, she leans forward, hands flat on her thighs and her expression all business.]

First things first, before I go out and get stranded - just how accessible are things around here? Some things look pretty similar, but I'd rather know in advance.

[Another pause and the smile's back, though this time it's just friendly.]

And after that, can anyone recommend a good place for take out?
