Well, okay. I'm used to really weird stuff happening by now but this goes up to a 7 in Leo's scale of weird.

I mean this is all fine and dandy [He waggles the pamphlets in front of the cameras, not-really refraining from rolling his eyes because really? Pamphlets? So 40ies.] but I was kind of in the middle of something back at home. Something... important.

And dog-tags aren't really my thing anyway. [He waggles them as well, making the metal 'clink'.] And apparently this here is going to be my room? F Y I I don't plan on staying in here long enough to need one so this is kinda creepy. Is the mist playing around with me head? Again? Because seriously I am pretty sure that's gonna cause some permanent damage and I don't mean to imply I'd sue but [Have a dramatic finger pointing out right at the screen] I'd totes sue.

Soooo Jason? Piper? Percy? Annabeth? Hazel? ...Uh, Frank? [Yes he's indeed calling for Frank this is serious stuff going on here.]

If you're around just tell me what's going on so we can get the hell out, okay?

[ Jason reaches for his shoulder, and gives a wry shake of his head. ]

No, dude, we didn't. I mean, you may have seen me then, but I haven't seen you for almost three months now. I've been here.

Time is...kind of weird, here.

[Well now you've got him confused. He frowns, tilting his head.]

Someone told me time stops back at home while we're here... is that what this is about? You've been stuck in here for moths and we didn't even know?

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm saying. [ Jason looks apologetic, but truth be told he's also relieved. ] At least, I was hoping that was the case. I always thought, maybe there was a chance you did know, and you'd had to go on to Greece without me.

That's...not what happened, right?

Dude, do you even have to ask? I'd be extra spicy Demigod Pudding for monsters in 5 minutes if I got close to Greece without you. Not to mention the Romans would have had all our heads if we hadn't had you with us.

[A beat.]

And you're also my friend and I'd never leave you behind and all that. So no, that's not- we had just gotten to Camp Jupiter when I kinda woke up here.

[ Jason had been smiling throughout most of that, but it vanishes at that last comment.

He's not serious...right? ]

What do you mean, we'd only just gotten to Camp Jupiter?

Leo, what's the last thing you remember? Because that was, um. A while ago, for me.

[Leo's own smile goes away at that.]

I remember showing the Argo to Octavian? We'd just gotten on it and then Lachesis was asking for my name.

[ Careful, Jason. ]

…leaving Camp Jupiter, or…anything that happened after that.

[ Watching him closely. ] Does the word eidolon mean anything to you?

[Let him live in blissful ignorance for a little longer bro]

Uh, no. I don't remember any of that and eidolon sounds creepy, whatever it is. What's going on Jason?

Nothing. [ Jason smiles now, though he's wary.

He's not sure at exactly what moment the eidolon had entered Leo. What if it's there now? There wouldn't even be any way to know, not without Piper here to call it out. ]

Don't worry about it. I'm from a little later than you. [ A breath. ] Like, a week later. But I guess this means it's true that time doesn't pass at home when we come here, since I don't remember you leaving.

Well, that's a relief. [Just a little bit of sarcasm there because yes, it does make things the tiniest bit better but it doesn't change the fact that they are stuck in here and with no way to contact their friends.]

So what happens during that week? Do we kick ass or what?

[ Jason thinks about it, his mouth forming a line. Should he tell?

It'd be a lot to take in, especially new to the City like this. He doesn't want Leo to panic about things they don't have any way of changing right now. Jason has found that to be the hardest thing he's had to do here. It's hard to let go. ]

I don't think I should tell you. You'll get there on your own, anyway, but I don't want to like...mess up the timeline by talking about things before you've gotten there.

What?

[That's... not an answer he was expecting. Makes sense, and if Leo had thought about it first he wouldn't have even asked. But him saying that makes it clear that something happens, and he doubts it's something good.]

Well... okay, I guess. Makes sense.

It's okay. Nothing bad happens to you.

[ At least, nothing that Leo's not good enough to overcome. ]

Hey, let me ask you something. When you're from, have you talked much to Hazel? [ Because they seem pretty close from what Jason remembers, but he hasn't had a chance to ask about it yet. ]

['To you' he says, and that's kind of worse because now Leo will keep on asking himself what will happen to the others. At least he hasn't talked to a certain goddess yet, that will make him feel even worse.]

Well, okay then. And Hazel is the one with the pretty eyes? We barely talked to each other but I think she's into me. She kept looking at me and everything.

Mmm. Yeah. I mean, I guess so? [ 'Pretty' isn't exactly the word Jason would have used to describe her eyes. 'Unusual', maybe, or 'odd'. He knows not to say so. He remembers enough about Hazel to know she feels like the odd one out enough as it is. ]

You guys pretty much always do that. You, Hazel and Frank. I guess whatever's going on hasn't really started yet.

Do you like her, man?

[He wrinkles his nose] Frank, too? He looks like a tiny sumo player.

[At the question, he shrugs. He had said it in a joking way before but now his tone gets serious.] She's cute? But she has a boyfriend and we just met, don't think I'd go for that if that's what you're asking.

But I was serious about the looks, creeped me out a little.

[ Jason smiles a bit. Leo giving Frank a hard time was pretty much a constant on that ship. ]

I don't know what I'm asking. I don't really know what's going on with you guys, we didn't have a lot of time to talk it all through.

Here we've got nothing but time.

I should probably show you where the MAC is.

I guess we'll find out what it is when we get back home.

[He tilts his head] The MAC? Are you going to get me an apple computer?

What?

[ Cue confusion. Look, you'd be lucky if Jason even knew how that differed from a PC, okay. ]

No, the MAC's the apartment block where everyone lives. They give things weird names here. The psychiatric hospital is called 'No Hope', seriously.

[Leo's eyebrows reach unexpectedly high] Seriously? Remind me to never catch a cold or something.

Will I get a place in the MAC or how does that work?

[ Jason gives him a tight smile. ]

It's easy enough. You still got those dogtags from the Porter?

[Dan-dan-dangling them in front of him again.]

Yup. Wanted to put them inside my belt but I think it's not working properly and didn't want to lose them.

Good. Definitely don't lose them, they're your room key.

[ Jason pulls out his own; he's wearing them around his neck, tucked inside his t-shirt. ]

They also release two hundred bucks a week for you. That's living expenses, I'm told.

Now that's good news... but are we supposed to just get money for doing nothing then?

That much, yeah. They give us the room and that cash as a way or providing for us. It's not much, though, so a lot of people have regular jobs too.

[ He gives Leo a little smile. ] Were you planning to do nothing?
