[Angelica sounds tired, but determined and quite thoughtful, like she's been mulling over what to say for days. Spoilers: she has.]

I've always thought that people were essentially good, deep down inside. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt when they make mistakes and try to see the good intentions in everybody. Like, maybe they really thought their actions were for the best. Or-- or maybe they were just that ignorant and didn't consider the long term consequences of their choices. I've made every mental excuse in the book for every act of horrible imaginable. But at a certain point... [She trails off for a second.] At a certain point there's just no point in making excuses anymore.

What kind of world is Calvin growing up in? What sort of future does he have if this cycle continues and those who seek to defend humanity wind up eradicating an aspect of it from this Earth? What sort of futures do any of us have? If we stay on this path and stay helpless, what sort of outcome are we inviting?

I'm not a politician and I'm not a fighter, not anymore anyways, and I've never been the type of person who seeks out conflict, but guys... if there was ever a time to rally, it's right now. What are we, as a community, doing and how can those of us who are tired of sitting on the sidelines help?

Zatanna has mentioned that she's concerned. And there's a newer man, Kiritsugu Emiya. He seems extremely motivated to do something productive.

It will certainly be worth getting us all on the same page. I know Tony might want to take part, then Callie Maggotbone from the DOI. When I was thinking more strategically-minded people, I was referring mostly to Jack Bauer and Archer, I'm not sure how interested they'd be in public relations. Nonetheless, it may be worth offering the option.

There were plenty of others involved as well, perhaps the grapevine could bring in all interested parties.

I agree. The more people who know about this, the better. I don't really know Callie and Archer, but I could talk to Tony, and to Mr. Bauer. We'll of course need people working behind the scenes too, no matter what plans we come up with.

Oh, certainly! There's more work involved than just in the planning stages, of course, and it would be difficult to manage if we tried to do it all on our own.

Bu I think it's a start, at least. We can put together a meeting here at the school, invite as many people as we think would help, and see what we come up with.

Good idea. I'll get the word out.

When would be good for this meeting?

[He lets out a long exhale.] Good question. Next weekend, perhaps? It will give time for the word to spread, give everyone a chance to get some ideas to bounce around.

I'll be sure to get the word out on my end, as well. Once we get the ball rolling, I'm sure we'll turn up some worthy solutions.
