How did the Statue of Liberty get to look as it does? From what I have seen it used to look like a normal woman at one point. Did something happen recently?

(ooc: I got the Vulcanus Info from the mods. Saber knows better than to accuse a public figure with no evidence beyond one person's questionable suspicions over a public network. She will, however, eventually start locking threads and tell people what she's found out. If for whatever reason the thread doesn't get that far, feel free to assume she eventually did lock the thread and told your character what she found out.

To clarify: Everything Olivia Wood told Saber will eventually be told to whoever replies to this post. Do with it from there what you will!)

Who does not puts the proper name for an ingredient on the menu?

Who does not warn their patrons when said ingredient is still moving?

My friends, please, do not go to a restaurant called 'Bits and Bites', the menu is deceitful and the food not at all palatable. If you are serving whole squid then please: Put on the menu that it is squid, not 'calamari' or whatever other name it goes by to hide the fact. Furthermore, please mention it is still liable to move on the plate. What I managed to receive that was edible was rubbery, burnt, and had no flavor whatsoever. The menu promised it would be 'swimming in butter and basil' and yet there was no butter and a single leaf is not making a food item 'swim' in basil.

Their appetizers left much to be desired as well, but at least I could stomach them. I ordered the 'shrimp and pork ball with spicy lime dipping sauce.' I could not distinguish the shrimp from the pork and the spice in the sauce was so strong I could not taste the lime. In fact, I do not think it had lime in it at all, simply whatever the cooks could find of a similar green color. I do not want to hazard a guess as to what it was, but it most certainly did not taste like lime. The 'balls' themselves were palatable, just did not taste like either pork or shrimp. So I did not go completely hungry during the hour I waited for my meal to finish.

The wait staff, while I understand they were busy and the restaurant was full, refused to speak to the chef for me when I brought my complaints to their attention. They refused to take my plate back, nor exchange it for even another simple appetizer without charging me for it. Forgive me, but is the saying in this modern age that 'the customer is always right'?

They said I should at least try it. Upset as I was, this was fair. The squid put me off, but I should give it a chance, correct? If it turned out to be flavorful then I would have apologized for my outburst even if a whole squid to eat is a nauseating thought.

Yet it moved as soon as I stuck a fork in it to cut it.

My friends, there are many reactions one can have to such a thing happening. Many of them are very reasonable, including being upset. Many would be angry or upset and there are ways the wait staff could have handled my reaction. Anything from replacing the plate with a properly cooked squid to offering to give me another entree in its place. At that point I was ready to leave the restaurant of my own accord. Having a person escorted from the building for their reaction is not one of them.

What is a good way to comfort someone experiencing loss?

[Because while she is used to being a rock she has never felt such a strong desire to comfort before. Lord help her, once she finds Lancer she is going to murder him for what he has done to Archer and to Rin.]

I have recently gotten employment at a place called 'Construct-a-Bear'. It's a shop where customers can create their own stuffed animals for a small fee. The work is not strenuous or anything from what I can see, but my manager has a request of me that I find to be confusing:

How would one go about acting "more cute"?

[Saber appears on-screen early in the morning, massaging one temple. It is late at night: late enough most six-year-olds are in bed and hopefully will stay asleep.

Saber has spent the day being reminded why she is not good with children. They are very much easier to deal with than politicians in her day, but they are hard to deal with. She has not had a chance to make this message until now thanks to the boy's antics.]

Does anyone know who is the guardian of a little blond boy called 'Calvin'? I found him in Central Park earlier today during the stampede and he has not told me where his parents are and who he is staying with. He is well and currently sleeping. I do not wish to wake him so if his parents or guardians could please respond and then come pick him up in the morning it would be much appreciated.

[After Calvin confirmed they were the people who looked after him, of course.]

[OOC: Calvin may or may not be threadjacking this depending on the mun's preference. 8P]

[Being a Servant summoned by the Holy Grail afforded Saber a few privileges most people flung far out of their time don't get. For one: knowledge. The Holy Grail gave all Servants knowledge of the modern era so that they could survive in it without too much trouble. Unlike someone who would be taken straight into the twenty-first century from her era, she knew what a car was, that planes flew in the sky, the general concept of a television, and that the Earth revolved around the sun. All things she accepted without complaint or comment. This is how things are in the modern era, a simple fact of life. She had more important things to worry about.

But now she is expected to live in a new world separate from her own and she intended to find out what she could in order to help those in need of her aide. Thus she had spent her time sicne arriving diligently studying ImPort history and trying to bring herself up to speed.

However, while the Grail would give her knowledge to live in the modern era, it did not give her a complete picture of it. Thus her confusion about a certain breed of creature that kept popping up when looking at recent events. Something she decides to ask about on the Network when she comes across them yet again:]

What are these 'dinosaurs' I keep reading about when looking up the City's history? They appear to be quite fierce, but what manner of beast are they? Can you eat their meat?
