So let's say the porter decided to mysteriously transport a bunch of people onto busses, put music, television clips, and messages from Vulcanus in their heads... Why? What reason would it, or that robot thing controlling it, have for doing that.

Same thing goes for an imPort with teleporting powers. And what kind of powers would they have to have to simultaneously effect that many people?
