In my time here, I have done my best to get used to actually possessing an emotional state. The results have been mostly unsatisfactory. Mixed, at best.

After analyzing it, I have come to the conclusion that my current situation can be best described as homesickness [ And feeling a little useless as a human, but he's not going to admit that. ] among other things. I assume this is not uncommon among people misplaced in time and space, which is why I would value your input on this matter.

While I miss the island I used to live on all my friends are here. So I don't really feel homesick.

Reasonable. Relationships are a considerable part of the concept of home.

Familiar sights also make up part of the concept of home. But I guess they don't mean as much without the people you care about.
