[Well here's something that hasn't been seen in a while. To the layman, it just looks like Kaito leaning against the wall in his MAC apartment. To those more familiar with him, the lack of luminescence might be a change.]

Apologies for my absence. This past month or so has held considerable developments. Some of them enlightening, yes, but certain others considerably less so. Still, it's put a few things in perspective. And with the recent news, it's come to my attention that I could be doing more to aid this network community.

If anyone should require assistance in the field of dimensional science, I have some experience. It comes up from time to time in my line of work. Along those lines, I'm also offering what knowledge I can, technical or otherwise. If you have any questions regarding interdimensional physics, related areas, or even more mundane topics, this is your opportunity to ask me anything.

[He moves to end the message, before hesitating, a dark expression coming over his face.]

One more thing. If you ever encounter someone referring to themselves as Barian, proceed with extreme caution. None have been brought here or arrived on their own yet, to my knowledge, but the possibility is there.

Of course, it would have to be more enlightening than illuminating, given your current lack of that quality. I take it you've been practicing your exercises, then?

Yeah. Turns out I should have been holding my breath.

You don't mean literally, do you? Such an activity is often vital to people who are alive in a more typical sense.

Not quite. The reflex bears enough similarity though, that I stumbled upon it by accident.

So it isn't a strict lack of breathing so much as an analogous mechanism. That isn't too different from my explanation, then, as my own case wasn't terribly dissimilar.

[ only it took her two years to even know the reflex exists, and that was after she was told. ]

Think nothing of it. You had a problem that required a solution, I'm only glad that the one I offered gave you some level of use.

So, what exactly is entailed within dimensional science?

[kaibalite]

It's a general field covering the interaction between seperate planar iterations. Other worlds. An example would be the locations the transporter has been sending groups of us to recently.

That sounds a bit beyond my field. Most of the space I have any sort of dominion over is within this same plane. Have you had any luck studying those beyond?

Some. The world I was sent to recently bore remarkable similarity to ours, so there wasn't much in the way of fundamental differences in the make-up, something I'm not personally familiar with. The only ones I've had dealings with prior to my arrival were energy-based, and had far more noticable properties, even despite having never visited myself.

You aren't referring to the aquatic land, are you? I was under the impression you hailed from the same world that Yuma and Astral do, so to hear that there are structural similarities in the society's composition is something of a surprise.
