three [video; backdated to late Saturday night/early Sunday morning]
[Aoi is almost visible this time, and there's no delayed icon copy-paste job. Instead, he's just covered in darkness. An observant viewer might notice that he's in a MAC apartment. It's pretty spartan, at least the parts that can be seen in muted glow of the comm.]
I had forgotten that the wireless internet routers in this time period wouldn't be self-contained. In my time, most thing run on self-contained batteries, or are at least capable of supporting themselves for a few minutes. The point here is that the goddamn internet went out, as you all say, and it's quiet. For the first time since I came here and figured out the primitive internet, I haven't been able to hear anything. What's worse is that I figured it out so hot that I figured I was a real hot shot and didn't have to worry about actual wiring so now I'm just stranded. I'm all kinds of put out over it, too. It's too quiet.
[Oddly enough though, his expression is pretty flat.]
I wonder if the same thing will happen again. In the absence of an original, copycats and phonies spring up to fill the void. I sure as hell hope it doesn't.
[Aoi shakes his head once, and then seems to fade out of and back into existence just before the feed cuts.]
