[the audio feed clicks on, and Spirit's voice comes through, low and hurried. He sounds rather stressed]
Hello? If anyone can hear me, this is a call for help. Or, barring that, my Last Will and Testament. I'm in--[there's some sounds of fumbling and feedback from holding the microphone too close to his face] Oh hell, somewhere in the desert. Nevada. Send somebody--the police, the fire squad, a goddamn superhero, anybody--before the madman driving this car kills us both.
[a car horn blares in the background and Spirit shrieks like a little girl] Goddamnit, Stein, stay on your side of the road!
[a monotone voice can be heard faintly in the background:] I had plenty of room to pass, stop acting like a little kid.
Do you even know what double yellow lines MEAN? [Spirit retorts. Another car horn and a distinctly unhappy yelling voice pass by again. Spirit lets out a small sob.]
Jesus, I'm going to die here.
