Uh, for what it's worth, while this world seems to be a lot like that Earth, I think that it's on a timeline where no one ever played the game, so...it's not really plugged in to the timeline we're from. Clarity about how the causality of playing the game and the creation and destruction of various universes really works is a thing that is difficult to master, and thus far not very applicable in the City anyway.
