[Well someone is at home sulking up a storm.]

Considering the rash of port-outs over the last few weeks, as we have endlessly been reminded of, I am interested in collecting any hard data that you happen to have on them. Therefore, name, approximate date and time of port out, relationship with poster, etc. Please also include whether or not you, or the person ported, have had any extra dealings with the Porter. I am taking cases again. My new office is here: [the address of his house]. Interesting cases only. To those that were sending case inquiries to my colleague John Watson: it will be necessary to forward them directly to me for the foreseeable future.

I think so. Not counting when he died. That's a different case.

Yes. I've heard attempts at tampering yield the same results, on a slightly smaller scale.

[He's guessing from the fact that Ghost's response went unanswered that he and Sherlock are having an encrypted conversation, so they're familiar at least. Considering how paranoid Ghost has been about the target in question, the truth here probably won't hurt.]

[There was a pause. He'd heard mention of them, from Ghost, in paranoid passing, but had never dug deeply into them. He didn't mention Ghost, though, unsure of how far he and midnighter were connected.]

What is the specific time frame you are interested in?

Have a tendency to manufacture SPBs. [beat; to clarify] Super-powered beings. It's generally not a good idea to let that go unchecked.

The Network isn't the most secure place to discuss them.

That would be the most sure sign. Generally they aren't left unattended. But you know his habits better than I.

Yes. All deaths, with a few exceptions, go through the Porter, as far as I'm aware. At least in those instances, they are under our control rather than hers.

[There's a pause.]

My door is open, if you believe it prudent to discuss further.

Recently. But I won't turn down data from years previous.

I don't like to waste my time. If you'd rather stick to homicide investigation, tell me now.

[Because otherwise he'll be rolling in later.]

If you're sure. [A pause.] Have you found other allies? Informative ones, I mean.

Neither do I. And I stick to what's interesting. So come prove why it's worth my time.

Other allies? [He caught that, Edward.]

I've gathered a small amount of intel, yes. [But not enough. And nothing conclusive.]

That is what I said.

Oh? But you'd hardly be satisfied with small amounts of data. You're not one to assume.

Is that what we are. Given what I've gathered so far on the subject, I doubt any amount of data will suffice to grant an accurate picture of the subject. But no. I'm not.
