Since the Porter has been kind enough to return Dr. Topher Brink to us I wanted to make an announcement officially promoting him to Vice President and also giving him share in the company. His absence and return has made it clear I need to prepare for the possibility it could happen to me and this is just one of the steps I'll be taking to ensure that Rossum will be here to stay and that all of you who work for me will always have a job.

Also I'm going to be visiting all your departments soon hopefully to see how you are all doing. Don't worry it's not going to be anything formal. I just want to know if there's anything that any of you need, or suggestions for improvements you might have.

I've been negligent as a guardian and to remedy that I'd like to begin with having a dinner together at my home this weekend. I'm very interested in hearing how your studies with Andromeda are going and there's also someone I want you to meet.

Dr. Topher Brink, a very close friend of mine. He's also Rossum's new VP and if anything ever does happen to me he'll be the one running the company.

Is he nice?

Usually, though he can be a bit energetic sometimes. Besides that he's brilliant and knows it so that can lead to problems sometimes, but I promise he'll be on his best behavior.

I can deal with energetic. I had a ten year old brother, you know.

If you keep in that frame of mind when he starts acting like that you should be fine.

It certainly is and it reminds some of the more serious of us to sometimes relax a little.

Oh and do you have a favorite meal, or dish? I'd like to have at the dinner for you.

Um. I don't really eat meat. I don't care if other people do, you guys can and I won't care.

So anything with vegetables.

I'll let the chief know then. I'm sure he'll be able to make something special just for you.

You're welcome and you only need to dress up if you feel like it. This isn't a formal dinner in the slightest.
