Edward, I have some concerns I would like to discuss with you. Concerns about Mayor Hundred and where his leadership is leading this community. I hate to do this to you, but you're the only one who can give me a unbiased assessment of the situation. I need to know if he actually has a plan to deal with Vulcanus. If not, then there's some other things we'll need to talk about.

I want to speak to all to voice my support for what Geddoe said. He's right, we're all in danger and we have to start accepting that and doing something about it and not individually. All to often we've failed to share information and it's cost us. I don't want to see that happen anymore. I don't want us to be driven out of this city and this world by Vulcanus. To do that we will have to come together, however much arguing it will take.

Now I know getting a community like ours with so many to work as a single unit would be foolish, but many of you have people you will follow. What I would like is for those leaders in the community to meet with together with me at Rossum within the next few days to discuss what we as a community might do together about Vulcanus. We can't function as a military, but we can function as a republic, sending those we most trust to lead us to tackle this. Even this will be difficult, I acknowledge that, but if we don't take at least this step then we will be completely unprepared for whatever might be coming.

Besides offering to host this event I will also extend the support of myself and my companies to whatever course of action this meeting determines to be best for the community.

I want to announce that as of Monday August sixth, Rossum and Global Protection Services will no longer be doing any business with any current, or future signatory to the ImBargo Act. All current leases and licenses for Rossum devices, technology, medicine, and research will be terminated. Furthermore companies that do business in these countries that license Rossum technology will not be allowed to use, or supply that technology withing the borders of those countries. I am also withdrawing any and all funds we have invested in the infrastructure of these nations. If I as a person am not welcome on their shores then I will not allow them to benefit from the hard work of my employees, or my money.

I am aware this will negatively affect many people and for that I am sorry, but because these nations refuse to extend to us a basic human right and seem to view us as a threat, I feel I have no other option. It is only one short step from banning us from their territory to seizing our assets and I will not endanger my people, or my company by leaving open facilities in places I think that could happen. If and when these nations change their minds and attitudes toward ImPorts I will be happy to reopen business with them.

I would also like to ask all other business owners, ImPort and Native, to join me in this boycott. Together we might be able to convince them of how wrong this Act is. Thank you.

Since the Porter has been kind enough to return Dr. Topher Brink to us I wanted to make an announcement officially promoting him to Vice President and also giving him share in the company. His absence and return has made it clear I need to prepare for the possibility it could happen to me and this is just one of the steps I'll be taking to ensure that Rossum will be here to stay and that all of you who work for me will always have a job.

Edward, I know you and the Mayor are always looking for ways to advance our community just as I am. That's why I'm contacting you now. Recently I had a conversation with a young lady who's powers like many others as some severe side effects. In her case it's extreme pain and difficulty breathing. Now I'm going to do what I can for her, but she thought, and I agreed, that surely with all the scientific expertise among our community someone must be able to do something to alleviate, or eliminate her symptoms.

I'm willing to do what I can to that end, but I think we could make much better progress if this was a group effort. The difficulty there being I do not have as many contacts amongst my fellow Imports of business as I'd like. I'm sure you do however. I'm also sure you can see how you and the Mayor taking the lead on this with my support in the background would benefit you both. With Captain Bauer's arrest we need some positive news out there and this is exactly the sort of thing we could use to do that. Not only would it distract from the trouble the police are having, but it could also calm the natives as well. If they knew we ourselves were trying to moderate our powers it might buy us some goodwill we desperately need right now. It would also provide us an opportunity to try and answer some questions about the Porter without seeming like a threat.

Now, I'm well aware of chances of anything to actually solve my young friend's problem are slim, but with all the other possible benefits it still seems worthwhile. Of course if you think my analysis in this case is wrong I'll take your word for it and we won't discuss the matter any further. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this, Edward. Doctor Brink was also the administrator of the Rossum Import Clinic. Since then the staff has done an admirable job of adapting to a difficult situation one I am going to alleviate today. City I’d like to present Mrs. Andromeda Tonks as the new administrator of the Rossum Import Clinic. Mrs. Tonks has years of experience in hospitals in own world and is the best candidate I could find to fill this critical position within our community.

Mr. Mayor, I need to ask that you release one of the Skrull bodies to my people. We have the best medical technology in the world and the best people to use it. If there's anything to be found they'll find it. I know there's been a bout of controversy about how to handle their remains and I doubt this will help at first, but once we have something we can release to the public and show them we did it for the right reasons. It also might calm them down, knowing we're doing all we can to protect them. I'm sure you noticed the news report. Considering how few creatures leave fang marks on corpses drained of blood I think we can both agree this is probably related to our target. That's why I'm authorizing funds for you to take the team to Berlin and find whoever he's deployed there and eliminate them, though if possible I want you to capture one of them and bring it back here. I'll pay a bonus for that, but if it's too dangerous I'll understand. It's more important we disrupt the Major's operations if there is indeed one.

Also while you're in Berlin the GPS satellite network will be available for you and you'll receive the highest priority for any request for it's use. You'll also be flying on a GPS transport so we won't have to worry about customs so bring as much firepower as you want. Is there anything else you think you'll require before you depart?

Ms. Khayal we need to talk. It seems there has been some negative reaction to my hiring of you from some of the community. I want to let you know that it doesn't matter to me. I care about results and whatever your past connections to these people are they're unimportant. If they do persist in implying that you, or this company might be involved in anything illegal consult the legal team and have them draw up a suit for slander and libel. Now I also have an assignment for you. Mr. Holmes requires some Import volunteers to test a forensic theory he's working on. It's nothing invasive, but he does require Imports with physical powers. See what you can do to help him and if there's any problems let me know. I would recommend starting with the Police Department as this research would be of the most direct benefit to them.

This is Richard Kern with breaking news.

[Behind the anchor images of SWAT troopers, FBI agents and helicopters play. All of them at some sort of industrial facility.]

Last night FBI, New Jersey State Troopers, and Newark SWAT responded to a tip about a terrorist attack at the local Wilshire Chemical Plant. On arrival they found several heavily armed men and immediately arrested them without any casualties. A search revealed bombs had been planted all over the plant, enough according to the FBI to destroy the entire facility. Thankfully the bombs were successfully disabled and removed and the plant is working at full capacity today.

[The camera cuts away from the anchor to show footage of the bombs, clearly high tech and professionally assembled.]

The reasons for the attack are unknown. What is known is that the men arrested have been identified as employees of Global Protection Services, a private military corporation based in the city and owned by an Import, Boyd Langton, who also owns the Rossum Corporation.

It is not known at this time if the men were working under orders from GPS, Mr. Langton, or some other party. The FBI says they will know more after they have finished their interrogations of the terrorists and they have not ruled out anyone yet.

The Major is dead. During our attempt to treat him he had a severe adverse reaction to the medication we use to induce a coma like state. He suffered complete cardiac failure and we were unable to revive him. It is unfortunate, but there was nothing we could do. His body simply shut down.

I hope you do not view this as typical of my company's treatment. In all the years I've been doing this procedure this is first time I've ever encountered a reaction like this.

We have a situation I'd like to discuss with you. I have finally found a possible lead on Echo's whereabouts, or at least the location of her corpse. The problem is the person who claims to know this information is the Joker and he will only tell me if I agree to let Halverson scan his brain and then commit him to our facility. Normally I would never consider taking a risk like this, but you know how important Echo is. Now since he will most likely end up in the Attic I need to know if you're up for handling his treatment. If not I'll understand, but I need an answer.

Also I will increase the security in our facility for as long as he's there and I'll even have Alpha keep a close eye on him. Not that I'll need to encourage him any.

We're all strangers to this place, pulled here against our will. Very few if any of us have the luxury of having a families join us. Sadly that means when one of us passes on we do not have a next of kin to see to our final wishes. Because of the lack of family I feel it should fall to those of us who knew the deceased best to see those unpleasant details. In Whiskey's case, that was me.

I was more than Whiskey's employer. At one time I was involved with her romantically. She was Doctor Claire Saunders at the time. She was special and very important to me. While we were no longer involved in that way, she still remained very important to me personally. That's why I'm requesting that her body be turned over to me for burial. I want to make sure she's handled with respect and I don't feel a city run funeral will provide that. So please, let me do this for her.

I'd like you to have a look at Sierra and make sure she's alright. Then I want you to start creating some imprints for her. In particular if we could recreate Ms. Taffy I would very pleased. Also an imprint with which she could infiltrate the Mayor's office. If there are any other imprints you feel important to have available for her then feel free to pursue them, I trust your judgment.

You are free to consult Topher if you need to, but try to limit his involvement in this. He might be reluctant to create some of the imprints that will be required. Also keep all of this from Whiskey, I'll deal with informing her when it's time.

I also need you to create a back up wedge of me. With what recently happened to Mr. Osborn I'd like some added insurance against anyone using a similar tactic to remove me.

There has been a lot of talk recently amongst our community over who is responsible for the tragic incidents involving abuse of a certain technology, a technology that many have said I invented. This is true. While I am not responsible for the tragedies we all witnessed last month, I did invent the technology to wipe the human mind and imprint it with new instructions, even new personalities. However, I want to make it clear that I never intended it be used like this. I created the technology to help people, to treat ailments that simply couldn't be treated any other way, and I'm appalled to see it abused like this.

Unfortunately I can't un-invent what I've created, but I can help to fix some of the damage caused by it.
