When Kiden requested my help in preparing for Thanksgiving, I expected that I would be helping out with the food; rather, it seems, I am to read from a list of rules she has prepared. I will paraphrase the best I can, as her hand writing is awful and her syntax odd.

Number one: all are welcome to our apartment after the meal Spider-Man is making, providing you are not a "psycho," or going to burn the place down, either by accident or on purpose. Chase's name has been underlined three times.

Number two: no—[pause]is this really necessary? Surely it goes without saying. No "weird stuff" of any calibre is to go on in Kiden's room, Laura's room, or anybody's room for that matter, "unless you are Xavin and Karolina, in which case go—" Kiden. Why would you even write that? You know we are—[the sound of the communicator being dropped and arguing in the background] Yes, I am well aware that this thing is still turned on. I believe everyone understands what you are saying.

[there is a long silence, followed by the sound of paper being waved about]

[sigh] Very well. Number three: if any sh—there is no need to swear as much as you are wont to, you realise—if anything is broken in the apartment, we kindly request that you either replace it or use "some sort of magic to unbreak it."

Point four: there will be alcohol provided, but Spider-Man II has deigned that nobody under eighteen is allowed to drink it. Kiden has added in parenthesis and capital letters that this does not mean her.

After point four it seems she grew tied of listing the rules thus, and has added that you should "throw up in the toilet if you really have to," and that people are welcome to spend the night, if they do not mind sleeping on the floor or sofa. [Kiden speaking in the background; her voice is unclear] Oh. And she says that there will be the option of ordering pizza, should Spider-Man's cooking turn out too horrifically.
