[Various settings flicker on and off on the comm.  A brief audio bit that sounds like someone fumbling around with the controls, experimenting and testing.  Video flicks on for a few moments, long enough to catch a glimpse of the man holding the comm.  He’s big, it’s easy to tell even from the video feed, built like a tank with a mean, scarred face that’s made more disturbing by the drying blood and huge bruises covering the man’s face.  Someone’s been working this guy over but good.]

[When he seems satisfied he has the comm under control, he gives a small satisfied sort of smile that doesn’t do much at making him look approachable.  When he speaks, his voice is low and rough.]

There now.  Nice of whoever’s in charge to hand out these things.  Makes things a bit easier for getting’ questions answered.

What’s all this talk about heroes?  Who’s runnin’ this operation?

More importantly, where’s the cheapest place to get a brew around here?  I haven’t had a drink since those dumb bastards had me eatin’ and breathin’ through tubes.
