Greetings, oh wondrous City! It's been some time since I've chatted with you last. I'm sorry I missed the giant lizard fiasco - and by sorry, I mean not at all - but I do hope everyone has recovered, resurrected or otherwise been accommodated by this City's forgiving nature. "Forgiving" being a relative term, of course.

And that's what I'd like to talk about. Death. How is that working here, am I right? Some people wake up all nice and new with a slight case of amnesia, and yet others simply don't wake up at all. Is it the fickle desire of the gods? Fate's cruel joke? The "why" is all high and in the abstract which, quite frankly, bores me to tears. So what I'd like to ask, my fair City, is how are you coping with your mortality or potential lack thereof?

Being alive again after being dead for a couple years is weird. Getting used to it didn't take long, though.

And what an adjustment that must have been. I didn't realize how often this City brought back people who had died in their home worlds.

But I'll let you in on a secret: When I came to the City, it was because I died as well.
