You may already be aware of this, but since "The Major" has unwisely declared "war" on the HIVE, that makes the City the home front. You've been working on coordinating with the superheroes of the City to catch criminals. That makes you best suited to get them organized to keep an extra watchful eye out. Forces on the front line can withdraw if the fight goes badly, but the home front must not be lost.
I will be going on the strike, primarily because I have my suspicions about the Major. I've recently discovered that I'm not alone in this, but none of us have any proof. This will probably be the best chance available to find it, if it exists.

Captain Hammer may not have seen your message about your plans for the strike... but I did. Against my better judgment, I'm not going to stop you from taking weapons. However, you will not slow the mission down. You will not jeopardize the mission or the other people on it. You will take care not to let civilians get caught in the crossfire or otherwise hurt in the action. And when we are back in the City, you will be responsible for who uses those weapons and how.
You want to escape with your ill-gotten goods. I have questions I want to find answers to. It is in both of our interests to see the mission done quickly and efficiently, so that we both have time to accomplish our goals before the main fighting is over.
