Well hello. And how is my favorite city this fine evening?

"Favorite," of course, is a hyperbole. But I admit it. While I spent my first few months loathing this city with a fiery passion, I'm generally learning to tolerate it. Sure, we're little more than slaves no matter how you cut the semantics, but it can also be... a learning experience of sorts. Learning how to avoid devastating explosions, for instance. How to make sacrifices for the "greater good." To build yourself up again after you fall. Yes, this city has been a lot for a poor, old man like me, but I'd like to think I'm finally getting a handle on it. And then that makes me thankful, you see, for the opportunity to grow.

But don't be mistaken. I resent being held captive in the universe, as should the rest of you. It's only that there's nothing to show for stewing in self-pity. Decisions must be made, and I've made mine. How about you? How do you react to your open-aired prison?

[He gives a short, low laugh, barely even audible on the microphone.]
