From your reaction, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say, you didn't just go out to a costume shop and buy that for Halloween. What's up?

There's been this naggy feeling in my head all day since I woke up, like something I was forgetting and I just-- I don't even know what I did and there was this-- it was almost like lighting but not and now I'm in this-- this costume! and I don't look like me any more! I don't know what happened and it worries me a lot!

[[there's a pause before the video turns on. Bakura's face has gotten a bit tanner and more angular, much more adult looking. His hair's bit shorter, though it had stayed the same near white as before. However, the biggest change was noticed as you looked down a bit, his normally very slender frame having suddenly gotten far more buff and muscular, the rather bright red and yellow spandex costume leaving very little to the imagination at just how built he had become.]]

[voice, still private] if only you could see him staring

*long pause, and then a cough*

Uh...wow. Yeah, you look a bit different, all right. Damn. That's, uh...that's a hell of a power. I wonder what comes with the costume.

Somebody's got to be missing that costume...sit tight and I'm sure you'll find out. Hope it's cool to balance out the spandex.

I look like a different person. Even if I worked out for five years, I wouldn't look like this.

[[hesitates a moment]] I... I sort of...

Look like the thief in the Egypt game...

[[he gives a small laugh]] Un. I don't think I could leave the house in this... I need a robe or something to go over it!

What do you mean, can't you just take it off? I mean, there's being humble about being a hero, and then there's hiding that you're a hero...

[[gives a soft laugh]] I don't know if I can! This stuff-- I don't even know how someone would get it on if it weren't magic! It's like-- a magic one piece or something! There's this button up here and I THINK I might be able to peel it off...

And there's no way I could wear this in public! I mean-- it shows EVERYTHING, Alastair-kun! It's really embarrassing!

[[you can almost HEAR the blush in his voice]]

The avatar the Ring's voice used for the Egypt game. King of Thieves, Bakura. [[sounds almost sheepish]] It figures, the one time I think I'll change character class and try something new, it was just the Ring's voice pulling my strings. [[says with a soft sigh]] I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by it, really. After all, I was his avatar in the real world, why not in the game too?

I see. *said with obvious weight, he really does get it*

Well. You don't look bad. Chin up, it could be a hell of a lot worse.

Un, true! [[his tone makes it clear he's smiling again]]

And maybe... maybe you're right. Even though it was his avatar... doesn't mean it was him... right?

Nope. It was probably some other poor guy whose face he decided looked good to hide behind. Or there's some other connection, I don't know. But I'm sure it wasn't the Ring. He wishes.

Saw the other responses. Superman package, huh? So you pretty much got the powers like I had last week - heheh, now you can fly!

[[gives a soft laugh]] It makes me almost wonder if he even remembered what he used to look like before he started being me. Makes me wish a little bit that I knew what happened in that game... if he followed my story line or just made up his own.

[[laughs again, only more light heartedly]] Aah, I know! I'll have to figure out how it all works! And probably not work on the TRPG if I have enhanced strength!

I guess... this isn't too bad of a trade off. I just hope we can find whomever has my healing, just incase!
