I rarely use the network. It's far too unreliable when it comes to privacy considering the number of technopaths and hackers that have been brought here. But I realized that it was required of me today as I needed to thank someone for helping a friend who was very much in need.

I suppose since I'm already using this, I can continue to do so, and request that we do something traditional for Halloween this year. The holiday is something of a big deal in my own world. I am rather at a loss as to the traditions behind such a holiday as well. My only memories of it are classmates dressed in expensive imitations of their favorite toys and ridiculous, humiliating games such as sticking one's face in a tub of water and attempting to fetch overlarge apples with one's teeth--never mind the potential bacteria spread--and extravagant amounts of candy stuffed into the largest bag possible. I failed to participate in it then, and I hardly see myself doing so now.

Furthermore, why exactly is it that you have chosen to go about asking this through the communicator despite the fact that I am directly across the table from you?
