English. There are plenty of stores that have books and audio-recordings to help teach it, but while you're learning, there is a translation function on the communicators.

Well it depends on the time, really. Like birds of prey, with beaks or long noses, which you do not have. Early on tengu were known as disruptive and harbingers of war, but public opinion has made them into protective spirits of mountains and forests, even if they're still dangerous.

All in all, a very intriguing history for your kind. Are any of those parts true?

Ayaya.. surprisingly accurate. We are bird-like, and there were many of us that were bringers of war, but they were all killed. I do live on top of youkai mountain with the rest of the known tengu in Gensokyo, and our White Wolf tengu protect it.

Perhaps humanity is better at keeping the facts than I previously believed.
