Badly burned. I need to know what I can do to help him. My power isn't healing... and it really doesn't look like something that just sleeping will fix. Please. I don't want him to suffer.

Mm, in the game either the spell fails, or if I get a fumble there's a backlash on the caster, but it's really rare since you have to get a 99 for it... Haven't failed a roll yet. Never fail healing rolls.

But failing won't hurt the person you're trying to heal, right?

I think in the game it just gives mana burn to the caster.... I know if it's an offensive spell the caster takes damage based off the level of the spell cast... But I don't know if this is just using Monster World rules or if it's the adjusted version or something like that. But I think all backfires just hurt the person who fumbled. [[there's more sounds in the background, a fridge being opened, the clatter of dishes.]]
