Ten minutes tops, though it's more like five minutes. If you can find some way to power it up more, then it can be longer.

Yes. Hodge developed them as a way of dealing with what he saw as the 'mutant problem'. Sadly, I wasn't able to keep one. In addition, one of my own people managed to develop a set of handcuffs - stasis cuffs, they're called - which have a similar effect on anyone in them, but, again, I don't have access to the designs.

Still, it is possible.

Hm. I'd be interested in investigating those as well -- do let me know if you come across the designs. Or even a base element that one can work from.

I will. For the moment I can at least give you some structural information - power inputs, energy types, wiring. Unfortunately, I don't know how they worked. Something about switching off the genes that let one use one's powers. I understand the principle, but biology is not my strong point.
