Not so much changing as being exchanged, I think. Since they don't seem to have memories of being here before. And not every one's gotten more vicious; one of my friends is much younger and far more harmless than before, and another who got older is almost the same as he was before.

I think... mostly the ones who are from a darker place than the them that was here before are just more noticeable.


It's a guess, really. But the Porter mentioned something about adapting to change, like it did last time it did something similar to this, when it changed around people's powers.

Yeah, there really are. But this is supposed to be like New York, which is pretty multicultural anyway.

Surprisingly enough, you don't need much more than English and Japanese to get around. The power I got from the 'porter lets me understand literally anything but I usually don't find myself speaking anything but those two.
