[Suddenly, she reappears wearing a long gown. A hand is pressed to her forehead in despair.]

Alas! I have traveled the world, played upon stages far and near. And yet fame still alludes me!

[Fingers claw at the sky.]

Oh! Why does no one understand my true genius? What will it take to become a star!?

[And now she is a cloaked crone, hunched over and speaking with an affected voice.]

But stardom is not the life I've spun for you, young one. Your life will be plagued with normalcy and mediocrity!

[The crone holds up a long, knotted thread. She ducks out of view and reappears as the actress, racing away with the thread clutched triumphantly.]

We'll see about that!

[She disappears off one side of the screen. Reappears on the other as the crone, furiously wielding a pair of scissors like a weapon.]

Give that back! You have no right! And no talent!

[Again she disappears and reappears on the other side as the actress.]

But it's my destiny!

[She pauses center stage and holds up her hands, which have become hopelessly tangled in the string.]

...I think that line specifically refers to us, the ImPorts. That may seem obvious, but look at it like that.

...It could go back to what we were talking about last night about them trying to sow dissent amongst us. It's clearly showing people fighting with each other, unless there's a metaphorical meaning I'm missing.

I think it's supposed to be a message not to struggle against fate, because it's pointless.

Could be. Probably is. I'm not exactly that great at figuring out metaphorical messages, and my mood at the moment doesn't help.

Fine with me. I'll admit philosophy is something I kinda skipped over when I read stuff. I usually kept to textbooks, mainly science.

...I never really thought about philosophy until recently. I guess seeing there's actually something I can't explain with science does that.

I mean... Science in my world was considered a sort of philosophy- what most people here called physics, we called experimental theology.

...I'm sorry, that just sounds so...weird to me. Science is a type of philosophy, I suppose, but experimental theology? Of course, you also told me your world was pretty much run by a theocracy, so I guess that makes sense.

I don't know. I just feel kinda odd at the moment, like I'm not really sure where I'm heading. I'll get over it, I'm certain. It's just...a downer, I guess.

After they posted... The most interesting thing that happened was people switching powers. It wasn't right away, but that's what comes to mind.

And 'Kashira' is the name of a town in a place called Russia, and it's part of a Nipponese sword.

...They somewhat foreshadow people switching places, with the Prince switching places with the pauper. Other than that? I can't really tell.

...Have people's powers ever been removed completely?

Not too my knowledge. And it's possible they were referencing something else.

The power went out in everything after ten minutes. Maybe the porter, too. Maybe they did something to stop the porter from...not bringing people in but...from being something that talks...?

...Possible. It's hard to tell without understanding motive, unless they just really friggin' hate the Porter like so many other people and things here.
