Alright, so here's a question: does anyone need someone to practice fighting with? I can't toss tanks around or nothing, but I reckon I throw a pretty fine punch just the same. I figure with so many people here from all these far flung places, there must be an awful lot a person could learn. And if you're just confused 'bout the whole fighting thing I guess I could help, though there's a school set up for that kinda thing. I don't want lessons, just people to practice with, if that makes any sense.

Heh, it's better if you can't, I think. I mean, there's ways to take on someone creepy-strong, but it's a whole different kind of fighting.

I wouldn't mind having a sparring partner that wasn't the friends I have here from my home world.

I'm working on it. First, we gotta figure out the right person to talk to. We used to have a couple reporters here, and one of 'em even had a job at one of the papers. But I'm pretty sure he up and disappeared.

Seeing as how my usual sparring partner came down with a mild case of tank-tossing when he got here, I get where you're coming from. If I'm ever gonna pay him back for kicking my ass, I'll probably need all the practice I can get.

Like I said, there's ways of compensating for the tank tossing, but it's a whole different ballgame.

In my experience, you always need all the practice you can get, but a little motivation doesn't hurt.

I've encountered some pretty strong-arm heh tactics before, but I'd be interested in learning how to deal with them here.

Considering how common super-stregnth seems to be, it's bound to come in handy.

Well, the best is probably to be ridiculous strong yourself, but sure, I can give you a couple tips. Then you'd have something to practice with your friend, right?

I don't think this place has much of a fighting style, being it's all cobbled together from people who aren't exactly native. But I figure, as long as we're stuck here, that's as good a reason as any to learn.
