[That's what the audio cuts in on, mid-sentence - mid mutter, really, like the speaker is talking solely to himself. After a minute of pressing this and that, the sound of heavy footfalls, the video switches on for a brief glance of James' face. Tired, but alert, and a little shocked at the sudden new feature on the comm. He doesn't recognize what it is, though, and instead flips it around to use as a second flashlight, switching his own off.
That's because the spot James is wandering around in is pitch-fucking-black due to the Rune knocking out the power. He's convinced he's still in Silent Hill. The comm gets a few minutes of tense walking, though James is eerily silent throughout. Eventually the video times out, with one little last bit:]
