Eighth Inquiry [voice] BACKDATED TO 3AM

You now, there are some questions that you'll be unlikely to ever get an answer to you can share. Not entirely impossible, as this place has proven, but the usefulness of the information, how it may apply to anyone else, is always suspect.

I've got one in particular in mind, but the answers will probably be different between here and home, and there's good odds they'll vary from person-to-person.

But I'm using a lot of words to make a very simple inquiry. [sorry everyone, he probably hasn't slept in a few days] What do you think happens when you die? Or, at the very least, between when you die here and when she decides to bring you back?

I have my own thoughts, of course, but my answers aren't important right now. Just the question.

I'm sure she has, but has she seen everything? Accepting her answer doesn't nullify the question, because there's always more to hear. Home isn't the only universe out there, the answers for other places are sure to be interesting.

I haven't paid much attention to it since I was a kid, but I know a thing or two.

But wouldn't that make this just another "where", assuming it's an afterlife to begin with? Not much of an anomaly there, when you reduce the whole thing down to that.

Bit too vague for my tastes, personally. I like to fill in the details when they can be.

A few people have humored the idea, but it doesn't really work for me. I wasn't dead quite yet.

But as for the City's "anomaly", I just assume she wants us to know that she isn't done with us yet.

Never can tell. Things have been status quo since January, the week after I got here.

seems like were just about due to a knockabout. last i was here i didn't get the chance to really put any feelers out for what "status quo" should sit like.

Just heroes and villains and everyone in-between, doing what heroes, villains, and in-betweeners do.

Never said it didn't. But it's not for lack of trying, from what I hear.

Could be they're just trying all the wrong methods, or it could be she's just better at keeping us here than we are at escaping.

Could say that for either side. Her will seems to provide quite a few ways to derail any attempts at dissent.
