XXXV. [Public/Audio]
[After the week he's had, he is refusing to be seen on video. Probably because it was humiliating and, as Calvin put it, "Aaagh."]
I'm going to request that people start leaving notes when they kidnap my daughter. There will be parchment and quill on the table in the foyer with columns for when you took her and when you'll be returning her home.
Whoever has borrowed her this time, if you could speak up and provide me with the date and time of her return before I'm forced to find you myself. And I will.
[For someone making a threat, he sounds surprising calm.]

[He'll definitely want to browse because an eleven-year-old just doesn't understand some of the bigger books like he would.]
It can be quite peaceful sometimes.
voice;
She'll still throw in an illustrated copy of some magic book or somesuch...]
The other times, not so much.

voice;
[She'll give him a stack. Because she's a smartass, the top one will be a children's book. Full of cute illustrations. c:]
That's fine. Anyway, what can I do to help?
voice;
Just talking to me is doing the trick. I may have been a little concerned.
voice;
Okay, but if you can make a list of where you think she might be or, I don't know, where someone that would do something with her might be? I can hit all of 'em pretty quickly. Assuming you'd want me to, I mean.
voice;
...
Wait.]
I think I can come up with something. I don't keep the best record of her friends and their addresses and secret bases. Perhaps I should?
voice;
You should. As convenient as the network can be, knowing her friends names, numbers, and where they live -- and ages and guardians -- will make your life much easier. Ah, the joys of parenthood.
