[The feed switches on to show a dark-haired girl in her mid to late teens, talking in fairly good English. She has a bit of a strange accent though; it's probably closest to some kind of Japanese dialect, but not quite. There are hints she might be a little irritated, but she's trying her hardest to keep it in check. A small black cat peers curiously from her shoulder.]

This is so lame! I'm gonna get into so much trouble with school again for vanishing. I've only just managed to get my teacher to stop going on about how well I'm doing now I've settled down, you know?

[Quietly, almost in a mutter]Not to mention what will happen if that Sephiria lady thinks I've gone missing like the old days...

[Louder again] Hey, anyone out there? I kinda switched off when that voice was talking, so can anyone tell me where I'm meant to be going?

[It's not a terribly big house or anything. But it's big enough that the tour takes a bit. Toph'll take her down to the basement to end it. Cause that's where the escape tunnel is, and her workshop.

Yeah, I've made a bunch. Some of them are in the big park, too. You'll probably see then. Mostly-[She pauses, looking a bit forlorn.]

[Sigh. She pats the statue's shoulder gently.]

Down here are the escape tunnels. See that door? It's through there. And I can hide them with Earthbending if we don't wanna be followed. Just in case stuff happens.

Has been before, probably will be again. Nobody's managed to break through my wall when I put it up yet, but there's a first time for everything. Better to have a way out, just in case. You know?

[Nonchalant shrug, then she grins!] Earthbending is awesome! It's what I do.

[She makes a 'come here' gesture at another block of stone that's sitting in a corner, and it obligingly scoots toward her.]

Oh, that makes sense! Usually I just burn my way out if I'm in trouble, but I should probably stop that. Someone might get hurt and Mr Black wouldn't like that at all~!

Tao of Earth...? Oh, you're like a Firebender? That's cool. I have some really good friends who're Firebenders, back home. Like the Fire Lord! He's cool.

Really~? Cool! I'm the only person I know who can do anything like me at home. I used to know some others, but none of them could do flames, and I don't really speak to them any more.

Fire Lord? So... he's important, then?

Yeah, Zuko's the ruler of the Fire Nation. His dad was a bad guy who crowned himself Phoenix King or some crap, but Aang beat the snot out of him and Zuko got to be Fire Lord instead of his crazy sister.

[Pause, while she thinks.]

Your fire isn't blue, is it? And can you shoot lightning?

It kinda depends how hot I make it and what I'm burning, but usually it's just normal fire colors! And lightning? Nope! All I do is make myself heat up and then use that to set fire to stuff. Even air will burn if you get it hot enough!

...Huh. That's definitely not the way the Firebenders do it, but it's pretty neat! Too bad Zuko got 'ported back home, I bet he'd love to compare techniques and stuff.

It would be pretty cool to see if I could do lightning! Maybe I should try it if I get that practice in like I probably should.
