35 // Hidey-Hole [VOICE]

[Somebody sounds tired as hell, and maybe even a little sore.] Iz... Iz it szafe to come out yet?

Why were the fleshyb-- the not-imPortz szo angry? [A sharp, pained hiss of an inhale. Obviously this can't be seen but he's trying to tend to various minor wounds.] And why did szo many try to hurt Wazpinator after he talked to them?

What doez "mint condition collection" mean?

Some of the books in there can be quite useful. Especially for understanding things that you are presently unaware of.

[Waspinator, Slipstream probably killed some of your fans. Or at least those who were chasing you. Because that's how she rolls.]

It's as safe as it ever is.

Surprisingly well, actually.

[Yes, he should.]

Oh, I simply took it upon myself to offline any of them who were pretending to be one of us.
seekerfemme: (Amused | Well actually you're an idiot.)

[personal profile] seekerfemme 2011-05-30 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Stupidity, most likely.

Yeah, sure. It's when it's as fresh and new as it can get. Real cherry. Right out of the box.
fromscarsdale: (looming)

[personal profile] fromscarsdale 2011-05-30 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well... Did you open any boxes?

Humans are simple creatures driven by hormones and instinct. Don't expect that there's any logical reason for their reaction.

Unless they were simply irritated by your voice.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-30 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
The speech impediment, primarily. Human mouths are not complicated enough to excuse it.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-30 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
A vocalizer malfunction was significant enough a characteristic of yours for the AI to transfer it to your human form? That's - rather pathetic.

I might pity you if I were at all inclined to feel sympathy.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-30 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Are you so sure? The Porter does tend to keep recognizable traits. Though you are the first flyer I've met who has been allowed to keep his wings, so you should be thankful for that much.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-30 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
First in the City, perhaps, but don't expect me to be impressed by that. This City barely merits a footnote in my life history.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-30 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
I've gotten used to death over the eons. In this case I might welcome it, if it would free me to return to fulfilling my purpose.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-31 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Whatever Unicron wills it to be.

Think of it as an extension of the Decepticon purpose, if that's easier for you to grasp.

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-05-31 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Predacon? One of the newer models, then - a shame. I always found the die-cast designs more reliable, but it is the nature of all things to degrade over time. Even production lines.

I doubt one as young as you would have heard of me.

... unless you're an extremely well-disguised Unicronian scholar. [Somehow, he doubts that's the case.]

[identity profile] trialbyfiretank.livejournal.com 2011-06-01 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Then consider yourself lucky I'm not him.

I haven't had a proper name since well before your design was even conceived, but you may as well do as the rest and call me the Fallen.
