No matter the situation that we come from back home, we won't remember our time here when we return. We might as well make the most of what we have here, though, since we don't know how long it'll last.

Not exactly, I didn't see it like that. I pushed everyone I knew away for over a year, and had to start over. I couldn't deal with people, but that doesn't mean I didn't want or need the validation.
