My whole entire home town looks like it was abducted because it's not there anymore. I'm going to go along with this whole alternate universe thing for now and chalk it up to that, but I'm warning whoever, if it was taken somehow and you had something to do with it, if any of my friends are hurt, if there's so much as a scratch on her? You're gonna regret it, big time.

[Said cats, all two of them, have scurried under Tim's bed at the first sign of dog. Although Alfred, the little brown tabby, is peeking out curiously.]

[Krypto wags his tail happily... but then looks back towards the bed like he wants to go see the kitties again and just might.]

Sort of. And I'm not sure, actually. I just went to regular school. But they might have, I don't know, combat classes or something for shooting lasers from your eyes. Like you need a qualification in that.

[Watching Krypto warily. He wishes he had dog toys right now. So... just. Let's go with attempted tummy rubs?] How long are you going to take?

[Hnnn.] I'll look into it. For Ma.

Hang on a sec. [He turns the comm off for a moment so he can fly faster and it won't cause a lot of distortion from the wind rushing by the sound input thing.

Aaaand then he's at Tim's window a few moments later. Yay speed!]

[Krypto accepts the tummy rubs happily, rolling onto his back, but he flies over to Conner and gives his face a lick when he comes in through the window and lands. Conner grins at Tim as he pats Krypto's head.] So... long time, no see, I take it?

[Oh, he sees how it is. Well of course Krypto likes Kon more than him, ffff. He looks just a little bit flustered when Kon lands, but it's because he was worried about his cats, okay. And then he looks relieved, and then it all smoothes out into a calm Tim face that might just be smiling as he stands up.]

Any time no see feels like a long time. [He shrugs.] But yeah, it's been a while.

How long has it been for you? [He's curious.

And Krypto is going over towards the kitties again because he wants to show Kon!]

Krypto, come here and leave the cats alone. Sit. [The dog lets out a little sad whine but comes and sits by Conner's feet.] Good dog.

I guess... it's been roughly seven months since you were last here. [Not like he kept track obsessively or anything, nope.]

There are, uh... a few pets around the Tower. [Besides his cats, even. And speaking of, Alfred is creeping his way out to stare at Krypto some more.]

[Conner reaches out and gives Tim's shoulder a friendly squeeze by way of an apology.] Glad to know you weren't completely on your own here during then. [Since... most of the other people that he's talked to say they've been here for around a year.] That... would suck.

[Conner is going to kneel down to get a better look at the cat, wiggling his fingers a little bit in a 'come here, kitty kitty' way.] What's this one's name?

[He looks over at Krypto who is kind of crawling/scooting forward along the floor towards the cat again.] Looks like you're going to have to learn how to get along with others, buddy. What kind of pets and how many?

[He smiles a little, to be reassuring.] No, there've been plenty of people around to talk to.

[And... he pauses, then looks mildly wry.] That's Alfred. The white one is Fleurette, and there's a couple of dogs and a lizard running around somewhere. Jaime has a cat, too, but he doesn't stay at the Tower.

[Alfred comes over to sniff Kon's fingers - ugh, he smells like dog, he'll have to fix that. He busses his head against Kon's hand and starts purring. Fleurette has decided to come out and sit on Tim's bed, watching proceedings from her seat.]

Alfred and Fleurette? [Raises an eyebrow. His facial expression says 'what kind of a name is Fleurette?'] ... The cat's just named Alfred, right?

You live here? I thought everyone was supposed to stay at that MAC place.

[Awww, kitty. Conner pets him gently. Krypto just has to butt his head in, though, and nudges the cat with his muzzle.]
