I'm not ignorant enough to think I could ever keep up with you.

I thought it was about time I say something to my favored Endless. It's not very polite to avoid you in this form while embracing you in other ways.

And humble, considering your bloodlines.

I'm glad my life provides someone entertainment, then.

As good as he can be. I'm fairly certain it's impossible for him not to be an idiot most of the time, but it's a flaw I'll have to accept.

Have you told Arthur?

I'm not sure what there is to tell. Diana knows, however.

There's always something to tell, if someone else knows.

Then I'm not certain what there is to care about. There's not much of a relationship to discuss. It's only been about a week.

Do you honestly believe that?

I want to say that I do, but on some level, I probably don't. James isn't exactly the City's favorite son.

Or considerate or really all that thoughtful. He's very set in that tough guy appearance he puts up. I apologize on his behalf, if he's antagonized you. [But she'll just let you do whatever you want to him, because it's almost definitely not undeserving, no matter what it may be.]
