No, but it took a while for the whole movement thing and getting women equal rights. Couldn't tell you when it happened though, it wasn't that big of a deal in history class.

Why use physical violence when you can fuck someone up psychologically? Humanity is really terrible sometimes. And there is a lot of open violence, people just don't like talking about it.

I can sympathize, the practice can be exhausting, but some connections necessitate it. I much prefer a more direct approach, where the nature of the interaction is familiar to all parties involved.

Pretty good. It takes practice, though.

I'm afraid I'm typically more likely to give an undeniable excess of shits. Practice of the magnitude required would certainly be incapable of quantification.

Look, I'm like really not the person to be talking about this. I haven't acted completely naturally since the third grade because people are douchebags and that makes other people put up fronts. But eventually you find people who aren't douchebags you can call friends and you realize one day they're still gonna love you, no matter how weird you are. And that helps with the giving too many shits thing. Everything else is just... I dunno. Learning how to let yourself get hurt.

But when those others, even ones who you care a great deal about and suspect that may be to some degree mutual, maintain facades of their own of an impenetrable fortification, gauging how they may genuinely feel in regards to any given topic can be difficult, myself included.

Either they'll get over it eventually or you'll learn to read them through the masks. Or you find new friends.
