[Tali's been thinking a lot about Legion, lately. It might be because it had died right in front of her, or it might be because up until a few moments before his death, she hadn't been certain of whether he cared for her or wanted to kill her.

Tell me, City -- how do you feel about artificial intelligence? Does it exist it your world?

If it does, do you trust it? Is it its own species -- or many species?

If you killed it, would you consider it murder, or simply -- deactivation?

[She glances off-camera.]

I don't doubt that people feel differently here, with the AI having bodies. I'm just -- curious.

[Really, she's trying to sort through how she really feels about them -- the geth, at least. Making a generalization about all AI would be as ridiculous as making a generalization about all organic life. The Reapers were far different from the geth, after all, and they'd proved that repeatedly.]

Immensely. After the second suicide mission, you get more optimistic about other places.

Ah, but the second time proves it wasn't just luck.

Well, staying alive is a more valuable skill than firewalling.

You'd be surprised how often being able to break firewalls is valuable for saving your life.

Is your life hooked to a computer somehow?

When breaking down firewalls is what it takes to open doors that are separating you from the way out of a fight, it might as well be.

Sounds like a risky business.

Yes, it seems like that sort of thing follows Commander Shepard around.

Must be some Commander, to make that worth it.

Shepard's one of the few people I would follow anywhere without question.

I think I know the feeling. Maybe not the "without question," part, but the rest of it.

I'm glad to hear it.

[Everyone ought to have someone they can trust, after all.]

Not so far.

I don't think our world could spare Shepard right now, really.

Best to leave the leaders where they are, I guess.

Having a few here couldn't hurt, if their worlds could spare them.

Freezing time's supposed to take care of that, right?

That's what they tell me.

When I returned home, it was as if no time had passed - so maybe it's true.

Yeah, but I know people from home who're from the future, so to speak.
