[ This post comes in later in the evening. It's not focused on Jack, however, it's focused up. On the very large ship hovering above the City. Which would probably be a normal, City-level of chaos, but there's a bright, yellow smiley-face on the side. After a moment, Jack speaks from off-camera. ]

Well, I think I should tell people not to panic about this. That's definitely not an invading ship by any means, so if anyone thinks it's a good idea to shoot first? Don't.

I don't want to have to discourage the Midnighter from violence if he's going to get angry.

So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go round up the troops, and see if we can get this out of low-hanging orbit.

[ Muttered, off camera: ] Let's see, door?

[ The Camera backlights with an orange glow before cutting out. ]

Not really. This was ours, but we were a special case there. We're the Authority, after all.

Authority? It must have been quite a position if you were entitled to live in something such as that.

It was the best job in the world, I'll give you that. Although that was only a slight perk.

Oh? With a name like that, I could only imagine. What exactly did you do?

Saved the world. What other job would be so rewarding?

I can't say I disagree. 'Saving the world' has a nice ring to it, despite the benefits that come with it.
