[ oh look. gwen's inside a blanket fort she built in the corner of the living room. she's nomming on some marshmallows and she's got her homework next to her. ]

Have you ever done something that you haven't since you were a kid, just for kicks, and found out it's just as awesome as it was when you were five? 'Cause I'm totally having one of those moments right now and I gotta say, if you haven't built a blanket fort in the past five years? You should definitely do it again.

[ there's a pause and she looks around. ]

Extra credit if you can get it to cover your entire living room. I wonder if we've got enough blankets for that...

[ the feed clicks off as gwen gets up, presumably in search of more pillows and blankets. ]

Nobles back home would have a Coming of Age ceremony at fifteen to be properly introduced into the society. [ of $$$ people. ]

They don't have. It's more of a ceremony for those in the upper classes. People with titles and status.

That's bogus.

It's just the way it is.

That doesn't mean it's right.

It's just a ceremony. [ important to nobles, sure... but it's also a hassle. others might be glad to not have to take part. ]

Other noble families acknowledge you. There's nothing unfair about that.
