I think I've managed to figure out how to work this device. At least, I've managed to figure out how to read past entries. Tell me-are exploding buses a normal occurrence?

That's a good question. I didn't notice any change in my blood [ though he's not going to mention he had abilities already ] but I've done no tests on a larger scale.

Finding them out is trickier. Trial and error, unless it's an obvious one.

I'll have to add those tests to the growing list of things I want to research here. As for the superpowers, mine hasn't shown itself yet, so I doubt it's that obvious.

The city isn't usually in as much disrepair as it may look. You've probably figured out from the communicator and the news recently things have been a bit chaotic. It's terribly unfortunate, but if you keep walking perhaps you'll find something worth looking at.
