I think I've managed to figure out how to work this device. At least, I've managed to figure out how to read past entries. Tell me-are exploding buses a normal occurrence?

[There's an awkward little chuckle, which can basically be interpreted as 'oh God I hope exploding buses aren't a normal occurrence']

From the entries I've scanned, it seems that knowing people from your world is common. In that case, I'm Dr. Curt Connors. If any of my coworkers can read this, I'd appreciate knowing that you're here.

At the very least, right?

Too bad it comes with so many cons.

[ A bitter-sounding sigh. ] Such as that.

Suspicions only. There's nothing concrete.

Day in and day out, as far as I'm aware.

We've got quite a few people looking into it in their own ways.

If I can be honest, neither am I.
liverletdie: (I trust you)

Now, who said something about leaving it for them? Although to be fair, I'm sure having a very particular scientific scope could hinder things a bit.
liverletdie: (That'll do nicely)

You won't hear me bemoaning the place of specialists. I have my own areas that I excel at more than others, and it isn't biology of some sort.
liverletdie: (Totally not a bribe)

Electrical engineering, to be exact. Related studies as well, but that's a pretty excellent blanket-term.
liverletdie: (Little smirk!)

Very astute. It helps make something technical at least a little bit more bearable.
liverletdie: (Sup?)

That depends. Personally, I prefer the challenge, but in the interests of making it palatable for everyone else? Yeah, bearable is much better.

One of the reasons I've always loved being independently wealthy.
