I think I've managed to figure out how to work this device. At least, I've managed to figure out how to read past entries. Tell me-are exploding buses a normal occurrence?

[There's an awkward little chuckle, which can basically be interpreted as 'oh God I hope exploding buses aren't a normal occurrence']

Well, my speciality is genetics, but I was an surgeon in Her Majesty's Army. I'm afraid all my practical medical knowledge is hopelessly outdated.

I took several chemistry courses in college, at the urging of my father. At one point I thought I might pursue a career in the forensic sciences, until fate intervened and I discovered my true love was law.
