Hello everyone. My name is Lenalee Lee.

[ Her smile relaxes some as she holds up the pamphlets that the Porter gave to her. Her face looks a bit confused but she’s still trying to keep a smile since she is addressing strangers! ]

I don’t think I understand what’s happening here. I’ve looked through the pamphlets, but it’s still very strange to me.

We were brought here… to help with something?

[ She considers this now. ]

I can help, then. So long as I can go home soon as well. I was in the middle of some important things back home. I shouldn’t be gone for too long. [ She hasn’t figured out that time doesn’t pass the same way here. ] But if I’m here… I can help! I’ll work to the best of my abilities to help until I can go home!

[ She smiles again. ]

If someone could direct me to where I need to be and who I need to report to, that would be very helpful. [ Someone’s too used to taking orders…

Time has "stopped" from wherever the Porter pulled you from, so your friends and family won't notice.

As long as everyone at home is safe until I return, then I'll be happy.

I don't understand it completely myself... but it's true. The flow of time here is much different than the ones back home.

The communicators are helpful. Most of the imPorts use them so there's the possibility someone from your home world may be here.

I did find one other! It's not everyone,but it's better than coming here alone. [ She'd honestly be lost without Cross. ]

Having a companion from home might help with adjusting to the City, if this world is too unfamiliar or unlike your own. [ He nods. ]

[ She looks around a bit and... well up. ]

I've never seen a place like this before. The buildings are so strange. There's so much more electricity here. Golems did what these communicators do but the communicators do a lot more.

[ She smiles now. ]

They were like the communicators with videos and talking and saving memories. They looked like spheres with a big eye and small wings to help them fly.

Wings?

Are you saying they were alive?

[ She shook her head. ]

No no! [ Ah... ] Timcampi might have been but... timcampi was a special kind of golem someone special made.

The others were just a device.

Oh, I've never heard of such a device before. Everyone uses telephones here or those ah... cell phones.

Cell... phone? I know what a telephone is but I've never heard of a cell phone.

Well, the phones in this world don't need lines to connect them. We had a telephone system that only worked in the city back home.

So there are these smaller phones you can carry with you anywhere.

[ OH SNAP. That is awesome! ]

That's so much more useful than hoping there's a telephone nearby! I didn't know they could do that.

They have many usages, but I don't have one of those so I couldn't say what exactly they do.

[ She wonders if Cross has one..... ]

These communicators are pretty handy as they are. Maybe the cell phones aren't that necessary with one of these.

[ Hrm, he wonders. He's never bothered to get a cell phone... only because he has no idea how to get one. What are phone contracts? 6_9 ]

You can hold private conversations over the communicators. No one else would be privy to it.
