but yumas birthday is very very soon

i would like to do something special for him
because he always does so much for me and very little for himself

i think being with many of his friends at the same time would be good too

[he's awkwardly futzing around the front of ralphs, looking around for any sign of jake. man, it's really awkward, he can't loiter here. there's a no loitering sign. hopefully, when he arrives they can go inside and people will stop looking at him like he's weird.

((Fortunately, Jake was smart enough to at LEAST get a taxi from wherever the hell he was. So it's pretty obvious when the dark, young man steps out of the cab he looks around--Welp! Good that Astral isn't too hard to spot in a crowd (nor is jake), so he waves.))
