I didn't have much of a choice for my "costume." Not that I'm complaining; I like it.


And I got the crap beaten out of me, twice, before figuring it out.

You could say that.


I already had my powers, in a way, before I got here. But the porter changed them a little. So I found out I still had them the first time and found a different power the second time.



I don't recommend figuring them out like that.

Plenty of people don't. My friend didn't. His started just started doing something one day.

The first time. Although it was more that they had some pretty vicious powers than that.

The second time was against someone with powers like mine, who could use them, and has a few anger issues.

Not...embarrassing so much as...they don't really exist in anyone's world but mine. And I like surprising people. Can't do that if they know.
