My first suggestion would be to confirm this little fact for Soundwave:

My Soundwave can be extremely sentimental about his "children", and while normally he would be loyal to Megatron, in this case he will be, as you would say, illogical. Driven by a need for revenge. I would suggest exploiting that.

This Megatron is also exceedingly arrogant.

Ah. Shockwave. The Shockwave from the timeline Megatron and I share was exceedingly loyal. I would suggest cultivating this impression. My memories should give you all you need. Play the act of humble and loyal servant, and learn his mode of operation in this world. Let him grow complacent. Tell Soundwave to maintain the same charade.

And while you do this, gather data. This Megatron's greatest weakness is his arrogance and pride. Easily exploitable.
