Please tell me what you know about the one that killed Kal. Anyone who could do such a thing cannot be easily dealt with, although Kal was unusually vulnerable at the time.

He's from the same world as Spider-Man. The older one. Vulnerable to heat and sonic waves, though seems you need to go heavy on either to have an effect. The red and black crap is some kind of alien symbiote... closest thing I've seen in our world is the Clayfaces. And the guy inside is apparently a serious psycho.

Not really sure. Plenty of pyrokinetics. Xavin's one... she helped take him down. The others were Logan and Laura -- that'd be the guard they fucked over during the escape and Kiden's friend who's currently AWOL. Well, and me, but I wasn't the biggest contributor there.

From our players, Lantern's probably a good start. I might have played around with one of those rings in another reality... I'm betting it can do better than just cigarette lighter flame.

Things are becoming clearer. Yes. I remember Spider-Man mentioning something about the creature's strength, as well. Still, if someone is needed to confront him physically, I should be able to assist in that area.

Frankly, I am inclined to drive him into the heart of a volcano and leave him there.

Hmm, maybe I should see how this phasing thing works with flames. Should be easier than solid things, you'd think.

To be honest, I have not noticed any difference. However, it is, I admit, difficult to say, as I've rarely encountered anything that tested my limits on either world. All of that said, it is true that I should test my limits before doing anything foolish. It would be extremely inconvenient to die again. It would also be embarrassing, as I've spent the past week regretting that Kal rushed into danger without concern for his limitations.

But it is tempting. To be honest, Selina, I am extremely angry, although I am trying to maintain serenity about it.

Oh, you don't need to talk to me about angry, Princess. Logan's a... friend of mine. He can heal from what they did to him I think. But if I have any say, there'll be hell to pay for both of them.

I'm sorry for your friend's suffering. These madmen have clearly been suffered for too long. Please let me know how you fare with the phasing. ...ah, just because I am curious.

Call me a hypocrite, but if the idiots force us to kill them, I won't shed a damn tear. I don't exactly like it, but sometimes you really do have no other choice. Hell, I'm not entirely convinced that Bruce disagrees with me on this.
