 Nobody ever tells me anything.

So? Are there days to be saved? Damsels to be rescued? Come to think of it, I should probably stay away from damsel-rescuing for a while.

If not, can we just forget about it and, I don't know, get some ice cream? What're the options here?

I, uh, ended up keeping this apartment thingy. Not sure what to do with it, though. If I had any money I'd buy lots of cool stuff to fill it with, but when I asked the clerk in that nifty specialty store down the street (It's a whole store! Full of bones! I love this city!) if they were hiring and he just laughed at me. So I have this place all to myself and there's nothing on television. Figures. Not like I understood how to use the remote thingy anyways.

People kept telling me that you've gotta get a job based on your strengths, but I'd always thought that I'd be doing that a whole lot later on.

General consensus seems to be they want "us kids" to stay out of it but like hell am I the type to just sit back and watch, especially since in my experience I'm ten times more efficient than the lot of 'em. Right now there's been a prison breakout of two big bads who're now roaming around town. As for other stuff... not sure.

You know the deal- 'gotta protect the kids'. But hell, I've saved enough adult asses to know it's a load. It's not about age, it's about competence.

Home- he's the type that wouldn't use his comm if he did show up here- but he worked and lived in a circus, so I just get the feeling that if he was here, that'd be close to the only way to find him, and that's just if he wanted to be found. He knows how to make himself scarce if he doesn't wanna be found.

Heh, good idea. Arenas or fairgrounds, maybe.

I'm still trying to get the hang of hearing all of these voices. If I focus hard enough I can have some moments peace. I've also discovered I can move some objects just by thinking...

But none of that can really help me with my problem. What can you do?

Ah. I can only hear people's thoughts if either I'm trying really hard, or they happen to be thinking about me. But I have some pretty strong mental defenses, or so I've heard. And I... Used to be able to use telekinesis, but I don't seem to be able to move stuff as far now.

What exactly is your problem? Are we talking mental issues here? I can help with those.

Raz there's this thing called "child labor laws." We're not supposed to find jobs until we're at least 16. There are programs to help us get into school though. Not a popular option I'll admit.
