You wanna know the real insult to injury, when it comes to a zombie invasion?

The delivery guys won't go out.

Go figure, for once some of the civilians are smart about this and know better than to send their teenage flunkies out to deliver food to us shut-ins. Which means pretty damn soon, Kyosuke and I are gonna get antsy to get out of here. We have no food in the motel, aside maybe some leftover snacks. Thing is, we haven't spotted any zombies in our neighborhood yet. God keeping watch all night sucked, when it's just two of us. Yeah, that's right, two - Sho's gone. I think he got ported out, his comm's here. Anyway. It's broad daylight, I've been watching from the third floor windows and there's nothing crazy out there that I can see. A few cars still driving around, even. So maybe not all the locals are smart after all.

*a sigh* So in seeing the other posts and videos, is it true? Are they really all dressed like cops? Does that mean they're the cops that disappeared just before we all came in? If that's true...I don't like the sound of that. What can kill thousands of cops and bury them somewhere so they can be resurrected as zombies a year later...?

I fully admit that in my wasted youth, I never really watched zombie movies or anything. Any tips we should be keeping in mind, besides barricading ourselves in here and hoping to god you trigger-happy types take out the whole mess of 'em before they get to our part of the City?

Yeah, and Edgeworth has a safehouse too. It's just a matter of...how long do we hold out for, is it gonna be over soon, and I suppose the fact that darkness is coming on might be an issue...

That's a real good question. If these are the City's cops, then it's not that they vanished. It's that they were killed. Slaughtered. Probably before any 'porting happened, even. I wanna know what woke 'em back up, if it's something besides coincidentally being Halloween.

It couldn't possibly be that easy. Since people are still leaving and coming in during this, I saw one newbie at least. Hell of a time to get ported in.

But I'm thinking maybe the smart-types oughta sit up and pay attention. The date might be a sick coincidence but the fact remains. Dead cops.

You can aways come to to the Base! Kogenta-kun and I are staying here, Toph's put up a really good wall around the base! And I've brought food, so we're all set. Or I could go with you to get groceries! Aah, wait, you really don't cook, that wouldn't help, would it? [[says with a soft laugh]]

Aah, they're easy to take out! Fire or a blunt weapon, or something that can slice them in half. Kiryu-kun's sword would be perfect! They aren't the fast kind of zombies, so as long as you don't get cornered by a hoard, you can take them out easily!

And I can actually fight them! My powers are from my White Mage character, fighting the undead is the only time where White Mages get to really be the main party member! I only wish I had mana potions to restore my MP so I could keep going longer!

They tend to cluster around bakeries and police precincts.

I think we've thinned out the zombies in [this area], but the stronger ones tend to travel solo.
