What is this? This is too bright to be Gotham. Even during the day, it doesn't shine like this. Of course the real giveaway is the lack of hovering cars. Time travel? Shit, I don't know.

Someone please tell me what is going on.

To be honest, I am really hoping this is like one of those crappy movies where it ends with someone waking up and it all being a bad dream.

The past is relative, lemme tell you. By general consensus it's something like 2008.

Alright, here's the story: some fella called Stark's got himself this whiz-bang portal, uses it to take people from the wheres and whens they oughta be and brings 'em here. The cops in this place pulled a big presto disappearing act, and we're the ones that're supposed to replace them. So if you got any kind of experience like that, keen.

Do they really have hover-cars where you come from?

My city can get pretty gruesome. This seems more tame for being cop-less.
